How do I teach?

I want to provide space for these essential experiences. For this, accuracy and mindfulness in practice are very important. I want to teach precise techniques. Concentration and intensity in practice are also important,

also humor and lightness. Sometimes there is something magical about the lessons. Sometimes there is silence, joy, or someone cries. Sometimes physical and other complaints simply disappear after the lessons. When this happens, I am grateful.

Why do I practice yoga?

As a child, I came into contact with yoga at an early age. But it wasn't until I became a dancer that I remembered it. Many dancers do yoga because it allows them to improve their dance technique significantly. My dancing improved a lot through yoga. I also became more efficient and creative. So I integrated yoga into my dance classes. And when I choreographed, our work was influenced by yoga.
A deep inner joy developed within me that I no longer wanted to miss.

The profound work in Iyengar Yoga, a type of Hatha Yoga, convinced me. During long stays in India, I studied with the founder, BKS Iyengar, and his family in Pune. In Europe, I completed another Western yoga teacher training course to become a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher, and I continue to train regularly today.

Why do I teach?

Life is like a dance that we all dance together. And we all have to leave this dance at some point. That is something we all have in common.
The beauty and vulnerability of life. The awareness that we all share this.
We all have the potential within us to be happy and to experience our true inner nature. Yoga is a method to realize this potential. The postures and breathing exercises not only train the body, but also create a deeper mental awareness.
