Our journey of self-discovery and creative expression begins with a mindful yoga practice that gently opens body and mind. This practice lays the foundation for everything else by helping us find our inner center, release tension, and refine our perception.

Breathing techniques from yoga and singing serve as a bridge between the outer and inner world – they enable us to breathe more consciously, explore our own sound space, and experience the voice as an expression of our true self.

Collage for the retreat “Yoga Voice Dancing – The Sound of the Heart”: Yoga, voice, dance and meditation in connection with nature.

Through vocal improvisation and authentic dance, the body can unfold freely: It vibrates, sounds, and moves playfully, while we practice listening inwardly and outwardly. Guided movements help develop a sense of one's own expression, while free dancing opens up new spaces in which body and soul meet. An important component is voice training, which, through both practical exercises and theory in words, images, and discussion, imparts a deeper understanding of anatomical and physiological relationships. This knowledge enables a more conscious experience of the inner world of sound and a deeper understanding of the interplay of body, voice, and breath.

The qualities we experience in singing are also reflected in dancing and yoga practice – everything flows into one another and forms a harmonious whole. A central aspect is the experience of silence. During practice and between the notes, we immerse ourselves in moments of inner peace.

To deepen this experience, we also venture into nature: There we meditate, sing, and dance under the open sky, by the water, or around a warming fire. In connection with nature, a special depth unfolds—we feel the power of the elements, listen to the sounds of the forest, and are inspired by the natural surroundings. During the retreat, the various methods build on one another and guide you on a healing path to yourself and your environment. The combination of yoga and voice can create a profound sound experience—one that goes far beyond mere singing or movement. It's about finding authentic expression.
Experiencing the joy of movement and sound together with others creates a shared healing force field.
